What sets Us apart

A bathroom that's built around how you use it

Most bathroom problems start before a single tile goes on the wall. A shower that doesn't drain properly because the fall wasn't considered. A suite that fits on paper but makes the room feel cramped in practice. Tiles that look right in the showroom but reveal uneven walls the moment they go up.

Warren's approach is to resolve all of that before anything is ordered. The site visit isn't a formality,  it's where the layout gets challenged, the pipe runs get mapped, and the decisions that affect every subsequent stage get made properly. If a wall needs to come out to make the room work, that conversation happens at the start, not halfway through the job.

From there, Britton's Properties manage the complete installation. Strip-out, structural work if needed, tanking, plumbing, first and second fix electrics, tiling, suite fitting, and the final dressing. Warren coordinates every trade and is on site throughout — not managing remotely while someone else does the work.

What We Do

Your bathroom renovation, managed from start to finish

A Britton's bathroom covers the complete job, so you're not left chasing a separate tiler, plumber, and electrician to finish what someone else started.

Strip-out & Disposal

Full removal of the existing suite, tiles, and flooring. Everything taken away, nothing left on site.

Structural Alterations

Wall removal, doorway repositioning, and stud work where needed. All structural alterations done to building regulations.

Tanking & Waterproofing

Walls and floor tanked before a single tile goes on. The stage most people never see, and the one that determines whether the room stays watertight.

Plumbing & Pipework

Full re-routing of supply and waste to suit the new layout, not adapted from wherever the pipes happened to be before.

Wet Rooms & Showers

Wet room floor formation with correct falls to the drain, frameless glass, and floor-to-ceiling tiling. Built properly from the ground up.

Tiling

Floor, walls, and shower enclosure tiled throughout. Grout lines consistent, layout planned from the centre — nothing awkward ends up somewhere visible.

Suite & Fixtures

Supply and fit of all sanitaryware, taps, shower valves, and accessories. One order, one delivery, one person accountable.

The Final Touches

Every fitting checked, every tile inspected, every door and drawer adjusted before Warren signs off. The room is cleaned and handed over complete — nothing left on a snag list.

How It Works

Warren's approach to every bathroom

01

Site Visit & Measure

Warren visits, looks at the existing layout properly, maps the pipe runs, and identifies anything structural before anything is priced. No assumptions.

02

Design & Spec

Layout confirmed, all materials specified, full written quote issued. You know exactly what's included, what it costs, and when it starts before you commit.

03

Strip-out & Structural

Existing suite, tiles, and flooring removed. Any structural work — walls, doorways, stud partitions — completed and signed off before the next stage begins.

04

First Fix & Tanking

Plumbing and electrical first fix completed in the correct sequence. Walls and floor tanked before anything else goes on them. The invisible work that makes everything else last.

05

Tiling, Fitting & Finishing

Tiles laid, suite fitted, electrics connected, accessories positioned. Warren on site throughout. Nothing signed off until every door, drawer, and fitting has been checked.

How long does a bathroom installation take in Somerset?
Most full bathroom refits run between two and three weeks, depending on scope. A like-for-like suite replacement in an existing layout sits at the lower end. A wet room conversion with structural work and full tiling will be longer. Warren will give you a realistic programme as part of the quote so you can plan around it.
Do you supply the suite, or do I source it separately?
Either works, but supply and fit is usually the cleaner option. Warren sources sanitaryware, taps, shower valves, and accessories through his trade accounts — you specify what you want, he handles the order and is accountable for it. If you've already bought a suite, he'll work with whatever you have.
Can you convert a standard bathroom into a wet room?
Yes! wet room conversions are a regular part of the bathroom workload. The key stages are forming the correct falls in the floor before anything is tiled, tanking the floor and walls properly, and getting the drainage positioned correctly for the layout. Done right, a wet room is one of the most significant upgrades you can make to a bathroom.
Will I be without a working bathroom during the installation?
For most homes with only one bathroom, there will be a period — typically three to five days, where the old suite is out and the new one isn't yet connected. Warren sequences the work to minimise this window and reinstates a functioning toilet as quickly as possible. For projects with a second bathroom in the house, this is rarely an issue.
How much does a bathroom refit cost across Somerset and Bristol?
A full bathroom refit starts from around £5,000, for labour, project management, and standard materials, excluding sanitaryware. Wet room conversions and projects involving structural work will be higher. Warren gives detailed, itemised quotes after the site visit; no vague estimates, no costs added at the end.
