The existing en suite was small, poorly laid out, and finished in a way that had dated badly — red carpet, a cramped shower enclosure, and fittings that had seen better days. The brief was to make it feel like it belonged in the same house as the rest of the renovation.
The room was stripped back to stud walls and insulation. Warren reconfigured the layout to recover usable floor space and create a proper walk-in shower. The walls were tanked before any tiling went on, the floor was levelled, and all plumbing and pipework was intentionally hidden within the walls, for a flush finish.

Every surface is tiled. The grout lines are consistent throughout, walls, floor, and the shower area, which gives the room a coherence that en suites with mixed finishes rarely achieve.
